Our Mission
We are a collective of riders that train for various competitions (Austrian Wakes Surf Series, CWSA, WWA, IWWF) and are proud to host Austrias best wakesurfers including international Pro Rider Markus Lahmer.
Together with Michael Bogner, Markus founded Ohana Vienna in 2013. Ohana is hawaiian and means FAMILY.
Beginning with a small local crew of surfers sharing the stoke, Ohana Vienna quickly developed into an international wakesurf family. Being part of the International competition scene for over 6 Years we had the pleasure to make friends and family all over the World.
We are non profit oriented with the goal to give watersports enthusiasts a home in our beautiful city. Another important mission of the club is to support our adaptive Wakesurfer Flo. We try to raise funds to create good times out on the water pushing his wakesurfing career.
2019 Florian Dungl (@cagesurfer) joined the Family with the goal to become the first tetrapledic Wakesurfer.
Only one year later, Flo rode the first wave of his life.
Our Goal is to promote inclusion and inspire you to take out a buddy in a wheelchair and do something fun.
